A Level Art and Photography Exhibition 2019
Posted On: 16/07/19
On June 27th Miss Sharpe, Mrs Daveta and Mrs Adams hosted the 2019 exhibition, showcasing the amazing work completed by the Year 12 and 13 art and photography classes. The number of people visiting included Mr Roberts (Principal), Mr Stoneham (Vice Principal), Mr Langley (Director of Sixth form) and teachers from both the languages and science departments.
The art exhibition show-cased a wide range of themes and media, highlighting the skills of our Year 13 art students, with media ranging from classical oil paint to more modern ink techniques. The Photography work, presented creatively with work hanging from the ceiling, filled the room and complemented the art on display. Inventive visualisations, which included lights and lots of bright colours, added to the overall effect of excellence.
We’d like to say a big thank you to the art department for arranging this year’s wonderful art exhibition as all the students and teachers really enjoyed themselves and enjoyed looking at the ‘beautiful’ art and the progression of the students work in the Sixth form this year.
