Over the February half term, 16 A level Art and Photography students went to Barcelona to inspire their current coursework projects. The year 12 project of 'Structures' inspired the visit, due to the range of buildings, stadiums and parks available to visit, as well as the famous Gaudi Architecture.
Students were kept very busy and had the chance to visit; The Sagrada Familia, Casa Battlo, Casa Mila, Camp Nou and Parc Guell. All students embraced all aspects of the culture of Barcelona and spent their time photographing and admiring the spaces visited.
"The Art and Photography trip to Barcelona allowed me to expand my knowledge on Gaudi's architecture as well as the culture. We visited many museums and buildings which helped me to develop new ideas and take photos to support my projects in both subjects." - Pheobe Love, Year 12
