    Posted On: 17/06/15

Joyce Frankland Academy, Newport has had 17 pupils selected for the Junior Hockey Regional Performance Camps. To have all these pupils selected from one school is a fantastic achievement and result.

A Junior Regional Performance Centre (JRPC) is a training centre for the U15, U16, U17 and U18 age groups which are open to players who have successfully come through assessment from the County Junior Academy Centres (JAC) or who has previously been involved in National Age Group Squads (NAGS) activity.
The pupils will have regular training sessions with high level coaching on all aspects of hockey from JRPC coaches, with additional input from England Hockey’s Centrally Contracted Coaches (CCCs).
