VI Form Students Embark on 'Dragons' Apprentice Challenge

A team of seven VI form students attended the launch event for the Uttlesford Dragon's Apprentice Challenge 2017. The challenge is a community service initiative which links schools and colleges with local business' and charities. The team was paired with their Dragon, the branch manager of Saffron Walden Waitrose who will support them through the challenge, and their charity 'Support for Sight'. Student, Alastair Gibson commented: ''We attended the launch event this week at HRS where we were informed of the challenge we were about to embark upon. We were paired with our Dragon and our charity and then sent on our way to create a business plan that will help turn out £100 into £1000 for our charity. ''
