Students from Years 8 and 12 visited World War One sites in France to commemorate the anniversary of the Battle of the Somme.
The students went to memorials to the missing at Thiepval and Pozieres, where they each left commemorative panels for soldiers sharing their surname.
The visit also included stops at the Somme Museum in Albert, the giant Lochnagar mine crater and the Beaumont Hamel battlefield.
More than 300 JFAN students have now visited the battlefields since the annual visit was launched in 2014
